Several are the activities in the vicinity of the bed and breakfast:

_The centre of Courmayeur (at 1224m) is only 1km far from Abri des Amis. You can have a walk in the pedestrian area where you can find shops, bars, restaurants and cultural locations.

_The unforgettable experience on the SkyWay Mont Blanc cable-car, a 360-degree thrill on the Mont Blanc range, is only 2 km far.

_In wintertime, the Dolonne ski lifts are only 800m far.

_Always in Dolonne is the Mountain Sport Center, open year-round with five-a-side soccer, tennis and squash fields, gym, indoor climbing wall, ice-skating, videogames, indoor golf, table-tennis and pool tables, table football and rec centre for children of 3 years of age and over.

_In Val Ferret at 5km are the cross-country slopes in winter and the Courmayeur et Grandes Jorasses Golf Club in summer.

_Excursions and walks suitable for everyone are not only in Val Ferret, but also in Val Veny, Ermitage and Dolonne.

From Courmayeur, it is also possible to reach the followings by car or public bus:

_Thermal Spa, Rafting and Mont Blanc Adventure Park in Pré-Saint-Didier at 6,5km;

_Rafting in Morgex at 10,4 km;

_Paragliding in La Salle at 16,4 km.

In Aosta, the main city of the autonomous region of Aosta Valley, founded by the Emperor Augustus Caesar in 25 BC, it’s about 30 km far and offers a blast from the past with its Roman sites, as well as its historical centre with medieval monuments, the regional archaeological museum (MAR) and the Megalithic Area of Saint-Martin-de-Corléans.

Several are the exhibitions and the traditional events of the smallest region of Italy throughout the year, such as the age-old Sant’Orso Fair which is held every year on January 30^th and 31^st. Among the attractions of Aosta Valley are also many medieval castles.
